Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNO): The residents of Shalimar lane in Eidgah are facing acute water scarcity from the last two years. The residents living in lane 3, said that over the years they have tried their best to reach out to the officials to resolve the matter, “but all in vain”. “We are now using rubber pipes to get water from other colonies for drinking and other household purposes,” they said. Concerned AEE Isfaq told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there was an issue with the contractors and assured better supply of drinking water in coming month for sure—(KNO)
